From 2019, the city card system only supports CPU card applications

The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development IC Card Application Service Centre issued a Notice to speed up the replacement of M1 cards with CPU cards, which will not only enhance the security of the city card industry, but also have great significance in accelerating the pace of the national city card construction.
