Dual interface card is a PVC laminated chip coil, based on a single chip, a set of contact and contactless interface for the integration of smart cards. It has two operating interfaces. The chip can be accessed through contact or RF access to the chip.

Introduction to the classification and advantages of dual interface cards

Dual interface CPU cards

There are three types of dual interface cards:

1. contact smart card system and contactless smart card system are just a physical combination of EEPROM of a card, and the two systems are independent of each other.

2. The contact smart card system and the contactless smart card system operate independently of each other, but share the memory space inside the card.

3. The contact smart card system is fully integrated with the contactless smart card system, and the contact and contactless operating states are the same, sharing a single CPU management. Only the last of the three types of dual-interface IC cards is truly a contactless dual-interface CPU card.

Advantages of dual-interface cards.

1、 One card for multiple applications, one card for all

Card support for multiple applications: a card can be integrated with multiple different applications, multiple industries, multiple applications at the same time. Application flexibility and convenience, according to different application conditions and requirements to choose contact or non-contact transactions, reduce operating costs; suitable for large transaction volume, short transaction time, transaction process without waiting for the trial environment; machine completely closed, suitable for harsh working environment and self-service consumption places, with strong anti-damage and anti-interference ability; suitable for high security requirements of the system, can be used as a financial electronic wallet; card anti Conflict mechanism, allowing multiple cards to enter the transaction area at the same time; fully compatible with traditional contact equipment, can be used directly

2、High security

Chip security: using chips with random data generators can prevent various physical and logical attacks; the program code COS in the chip, once written, cannot be reproduced; each chip has a unique factory code. OS security: support singleDES and TripleDES algorithms: singleDES or TripleDES algorithms can be automatically selected according to the key length; support line encryption and protection functions to prevent communication data from being illegally stolen or tampered with; various key types support different uses of keys. Transmission security: contactless data transmission follows relevant transmission protocols, and the card and machine are encrypted so that the data will not be leaked even if they are intercepted.

3、Fast transaction

DES operation gas pedal included in the chip can quickly complete SingleDES, TripleDES and other algorithms, and the running time of one TripleDES is 130 microseconds; the communication transmission rate is 106KBPS when contactless communication; the communication rate of the contact part can be adjusted, and the communication rate can reach 38400bps.

4、Good compatibility

Chinas financial integrated circuits meet the requirements (IC) in line with the card specification requirements; ISO14443 standard Type A, the future dual interface cards based on Siemens chips support Type A or Type B. Support the current application Mifare-I card reading and writing machine only need to upgrade the software can be easily implemented to support Type A Mifare-Pro type TimeCOS The read/write of /DI.
